Cannot submit an indicator to codebase

It goes past steps 1, 2 and 3. Then after submitting the code and screenshot it just hangs on step 4 saying "Code 20%" without any informative messages as to what the problem is. I've googled and searched like crazy and can see quite a few people have had the same/similar problem without any resolution.
How can I find out what's the problem please?
what does "searched like crazy", mean? this is the first link that i found with some possible solutions, including maybe the image is not right size, maybe your "achievements", rating is too low, and i saw other suggestions on other posts.
