Trade Manager

Hello,

I'm new to MT5 and I searched for a free trade manager.

I found some options but when trying to open a position it doesn't execute.

My guess is that I forcefully need to buy a VPS to run a trade manager.

Is this correct?

Thank you

You can ask the coder/author of this trade manager for support.
Besides, the forex market does not work during the weekend (and today is Sunday).

Thank you for your reply. I know that forex is closed, i'm testing on crypto. I will get in touch with the developer or maybe get the VPS to run it smoothly! Thank you once again!

Trade manager (ExpertAdvisor aka EA) doesn't usually require VPS to function.

Possible reasons for non-execution include but not limited to the following:

  1. Incorrect installation: your EA may not be properly installed or attached to the chart.
  2. Trading hours: The market may be closed.
  3. Expert Advisors disabled: Automated trading might be turned off in MT5.
  4. Insufficient permissions: The account may not allow algorithmic trading (need to check with your broker CS).
  5. Insufficient balance on the account.
  6. Errors in the trade manager code (if it's a free tool, it might have bugs or compatibility issues).
You need to spend time reading documentation, watching tutorials and practicing with the platform. Remember, every expert trader started as a beginner. Your willingness to learn and to invest your time and efforts will be key to your success with MT5 and trading in general.
