How do I prevent automatic partial closure of positions when withdrawing from my account while copying signal subscriptions?
If I withdraw money from my metatrader 5 account while subscribed to a signal that has open positions, sometimes metatrader 5 will automatically close a portion of my open positions. This is because the ratio of the signal provider's balance to my balance decreases. Is there a way to prevent this from happening? I want these positions to remain open with their original lot size.
- Subscribe to a trade signal straight from MetaTrader 5
- Close By - Trade - MetaTrader 5 for Android
- Close By - Trade - MetaTrader 5 for iPhone

This is a risk management feature. Preventing this from happening - might expose you to higher risk levels than initially intended.

The lot size is based on the balance of the trading account of subscribers and providers, and on the leverage of the trading accounts of subscribers/providers. And what is why it is not recommended to make any balance operations with open positions.

I strongely suggest to do deposits and withdrawals ONLY when there are no opened trades. So the system will calculate the right risk on the next trade you will see and your exposition will remain in the same exact % you choose from settings.

just guessing -- but my imagination says that it would almost certain to result in your new trades to also be larger.

Yes you have no control of what signal provider do. You can only be sure that risk ratio between your balance and signal balance will be respected.
To safeguard yourself, the only thing you can do is to avoid signal providers that do suspicious behaviour (like the common act of depositing and doubling the account balance when drawdown is occuring, to let their stats to remain beautiful).
