Unable to Add Funds

 

Good Day,

I'm having issues adding funds to my account due to phone number field not updated. When I try to add a phone number, I get an error, data write failed. I then created another account, only to experience the exact same issue. Can someone please advise?

Do not create multiple MQL5 accounts, since its against the rules and can be the reason for your issues.

You can fill or change your phone number on file, here: https://www.mql5.com/en/users/guzilam/security

You will need to put your MQL5 account password to confirm any changes.

If you don't remember your MQL5 account password, you can reset it here: https://www.mql5.com/en/auth_forgotten

I tried the sugested method, without success. Error says phone number already in use. Is there a way to check the userid my phone number is linked to?

Happy day after Mothers Day!  Trying to top up but the MQL5 system wanted my phone number but responded that this phone number is already used, choose another phone"  BUT I have no other phone and my old account must still contain my phone number?  What can I do?  Thanks

I've had great difficulty navigating the MQL5 website so I may have had several accounts over the years.  I apologize for my lack of technical skills.  I need help!  I would like to find out how the duplicate phone number can be overwritten so I can enter 1+925 689 5599 in my uptrendfx account to be able to Top Up and pay the freelancer who is already started with my Expert Advisor.   Again, when I enter my phone number to confirm my account, the message "phone already exists.  choose another" appears.  Therefore, how can I "override" this message and enter my phone number into the uptrendfx account.  I don't have a second phone!  Please advise.  Thanks for your help!

If you have multiple MQL5 accounts and your phone number have been used in another account in the past, it will not work for this account too.

You need to contact the Service Desk to delete all the accounts that you don't want, keep only the one you want and use this phone number for this one.

 
As we discussed, when trying to add my phone number the MQL5 system won't let me via "Cannot top up due to duplicate phone number.  I think I found the account with my phone number, "workwithdennis" account.  I have the the password and tried to log in to DELETE the account but was unable to login and the note appears "Authentication Denied".  So, the MQL5 system recognizes the login "workwithdennis" ID and the password but "Authentication was denied.   WOULD YOU PLEASE DELETE THIS "workwithdennis" account so I can continue with my EA purchase under Uptrendfx???
