I wanted to use MT4 for viewing historical charts. Its Sep 18, 2006 right now. I want to go back to Jan 1 2004 on a M1 chart.
The method as explained on the above cant go even to August 1, 2006 on M1.

Thats what I wanted MT4 to do, fetch the data from the specified date onward...
But after several research, I came to expectation now that, its only possible to go back ONLY if I have that data already - not the other way around.

ie, I'd like to know the M1 chart of EURUSD between 8:00EST and 9:00EST Jan 31, 2006
Surely I cant use the PageUP/PageDown to scroll all the way from September 2006 to Jan 2006; it would be idiotic to do that on an M1 chart.
Currently I simply use a different platform for this purpose. However, I'd prefer to use MT4 chart. How do I do it here? Or is it not possible with MT4?
