Struggling with "Invalid Demo Account" | MT5 | New to the community!

Hello fellows,

I have been struggling to connect my Demo account on MT5, using Windows 10.
I have been going about this in as many ways as I can for the last few. Alas I produce zero results.

Below is the Error Message from the logs:

CJ 2 00:09:49.445 Network 'xyzxyzxyz': authorization on FXView-Demo failed (Invalid account)

I wish I could find some other forums regarding this, however nothing has been posted with the error message.

I'm also having difficulty verifying my phone number as I have used all attempts, both with the Telegram bot and SMS.
Neither contacted me. (I scanned the QR code and resent the verification message)

Any help is much appreciated!

Thanks for your time :)

Sincerely,
CF

Many (or most of) demo accounts are provided by brokers for limited time only.
Besides, the demo account may be expired because of inactivity.

Anyway, you can open the other demo account with same or other broker for example.

trying to register a demo account but I tried putting my correct mobile number but it keeps saying INVALID. I don't know if I can probably get help on how to resolve the issue

"Sounds frustrating! The 'Invalid Demo Account' issue on MT5 often occurs when the account expires or login details are incorrect. Try creating a new demo account or double-checking your server and login credentials."

This isn't the problem. My demo account is brand new and yet MT5 still says it's invalid. But, I can login into my demo account just fine on MT5 through the app on my phone. Clearly there's a bug with the desktop version that hasn't been fixed.

Perhaps on your mobile phone, you're entering the password manually, while on the terminal, you're copying and pasting it—which can sometimes add an extra space.

In any case, it might be helpful to double-check, as the issue is likely related to the input rather than the terminal itself.

If you check the forum, you'll find that this has happened before and is a common situation.

Sometimes, it's easier to spot a potential issue in the terminal than to notice small details in our own actions. 😊
