Forecasting value?
There is nothing wrong with this, because each calendar should have its own values of forecasting based on their analysis and so on.

Hi all, I was wondering about the forecast numbers presented in the economic calendar of MQL5 (and MQL4...
 

The value -8K makes no sense any way . 

Their forecast was for there to be minus 8 thousand ?

So its probably relative to the previous read 297K - 8 289K was the forecast probably . That or a value read from a previous event and a database issue.

 

Although looking at the prints , in 2020 it was negative so the forecast is done with an average probably.

The previous NFP forecast was 1K , so they probably mean deviation from average or something

The prediction is that the last value changes (i.e. decreases) by -8K.

This is easier to interpret than another nominal value, which must then be put into relation.
