From the time stamp, they seem to be removed when you close MetaTrader.

But if that is not the case, then check the Experts log for messages that may indicator why the EAs are being removed.

How is a VPS related to this?

Is it a 3rd party VPS or a MetaQuotes VPS service?

It's standard behavior that when you close mt4, EAs and charts are removed and all get loaded when you open mt4 again. I usually turn off Autotrading on the EA properties and on the platform interface when I have an active VPS to avoid order duplicates. What 123jvansloten should do is reactivate autotrading on their mt4 and on the EA properties and if the EAs start trading, it's an indication that the server has an issue regardless of it being subscription active.
