Serious Bug in demo trading - page 2

You might have misunderstood it. This is obviously a client-side problems, since
1. a restart fixes the problem
2. it occurs with all kind of brokers.

We want to make it clear that this - as well as the "Trade Context is Busy" problem, which was annouced as fixed - are serious bugs.

We are convinced users of MT4 but, it is startling to not get sensible responses on a serious matter like that.

We understand very well, that this might take time, but just tell us what timeline you forsee atm.

please tell what the build and what the date of the build. it should be marked 07 Oct 2005!
 
mpfx, please expose your expert and terminal(!) logs with responces from server after trade attempts


Hi Slawa,

The thing is that there were no attempts to place the trade as the expert simply stopped working.
My expert has worked without a problem until build 183. I know there is nothing wrong with my code....
First my trailing stop stopped working last week and now this week it failed to delete an existing order and then set a new order..

Below is the log, as you can see it worked fine and then just stopped for no apparent reason.
I should be long USDCHF at 1.2800.

When I woke up this morning I shut down mt4 and restarted it and the expert started working again..

There is no doubt in my mind that the problem is with this new build 183, everything was fine untill I auto updated it last week...

As I have an account with snc wouldn't this download be for the mt4 demo ??
I need my live account updated not the mt4 demo...
 
client terminal is the same! setting files only are different. download from our site, install into another directory. then copy terminal.exe from just installed directory to your directory

Hi Slawa,
Perhaps you could list all files which can be overlaid from MT4 demo to a client. I have same problem since I am working on Interbank client and would like to update as you suggested relating to Terminal Expert page.

I´m using Metaquotes, Mig, StrategyBuilder and Snc, with the same EA and NOW it seems that only
Metaquoetes is working and the others give these errors 128
