Are there any know problems with local farm agent in the strategy tester? Status change to not used as soon as test starts

Are there any minimum requirements? 

The agents from the secondary pc are visible on the main pc however as soon as a test starts all the local farm agents switch to not used.

I have tried a few things and followed the steps from the documentation on the agent setup, no luck. 

At some point there was a message of incorrect password however I'm using the default password MetaTester on both pc's. I have also disabled all firewalls.

Any suggestion would be much appreciated.
