As the title says, I am looking for suggestions on a good exit indicator for trend trading.

- RSI
- Stochastic
- Moving Average
- Price action (Support and resistance levels)

You may find theory in virtually anything, you just need to know how to use them.

One hint I can give you is backtesting your strategy and making your own conclusions based on statistics.

Some instruments have a more specific behaviour, a more constant volatility in the long term, more stable liquidity.

Different instruments have different ways of trading.
EURUSD is more dinamic than lets say polish Zloty... Understand?

 

for scalping...combinations of TEMA with specific lengths (do trial and error for that market), use an intersection as a signal to exit

for longterm or swing trading... use a slow length SMA

 

I've been analyzing a few indicator types recently trying to see what truly works best for exit signals...you can use a lot of different indicators, but I found what is best is the Parabolic SAR or a Color coded Supertrend indicator.
