How to setup VPS properly

Hi everyone, I hve  question about how to setup the VPS. Yes, I hve seen the videos, still not sure if it is correct. 

I have an practice account with Markets.com. I have rented the free VPS MQL signal. I use a signal called Dark Point. This signal provides buy and sell signals on a regular basis. I have enabled push notifictions to my iPhone, but I only get these push notifications if my computer with the MT4 software is turned on. Meaning, if it goes to sleep or is turned off, I do not get the notifications. I thought tht was the idea behind the VPS, that the signal should run regardless of the PC being on or off. 

Is there anyone, who actually could help me to set this VPS up properly? Help would be most appreciated.

Thank you, what I see is that when I open the "Option" window - I do not get the tab "Signals" it is not there. Is that because this is a free version and it might not support VPS...? Is that possible?

No, it has nothing to do with the free version, some brokers don't offer signals, so contact your broker about it.

Thanks again, but what do you mean by "some brokers don't offer signals" I have downloaded the free version and when pressing options the Signal tab is not there. Is it the broker that "decides" if it is possble to connect a VPS to the signal?

Yes, some brokers don't offer the signals option.

If that is the case you should look for another broker that does.
