Amibroker DDE problems
When I try to DDE link data (EURUSD and JPYUSD) from Metatrader 4 (build 177) to Amibroker, MT 4 freezes. How to solve this problem?
- Server name and port no to MT 4
- DDE capability in Metatrader5 ?
- MT4.0 (buil201) + Amibroker 4.80.2 + DDE
Nobody, who can help me with this problem?

As a starting point, you should upgrade to the latest version of MT4 to see if it's already been fixed.

With the latest version of MT4 it´s still the same problem....

I initially tried the Excel sample supplied with MT4 - this worked fine with no lock-ups. This showed DDE was in fact working with the current version of our trusty MT4.
I was going to say I couldn't be bothered running a test on Amibroker but I couldn't help myself. I set up a test database, enabled DDE Universal, checked the config which was already set for MT4 and let it rip. Worked like a dream - bear in mind my Amibroker is still at a v4.70rc1 level - haven't needed to upgrade in a while.
