History data begins from Error MT5

As the title explains I am having this issue when trying to backtest an EA.

I used Tickstory to grab data from Jan 2009 and backtest from that date until today.


However no matter what date range I set the EA to backtest, it won't start and simply says "EURUSD-TickStory: history data beings from 2009.01.01 00:00"

Hopefully someone can help with the matter.

Think I found out the issue with this, it would only work on the mode "Every Tick" and would not on "Every tick, based on real ticks".

Why did you place a MT5 question in the MT4 section?

On MT5 you don't need to use TickStory. Use the broker supplied tick data instead.
