Independent work by two advisers - page 2

Ask an experienced professional))

I have already contacted an "experienced" specialist for $250. After finding bugs, he told me: "What do you want? I probably did not get the humour and cancelled the job paying a $25 commission. Then I was told that I have to pay $500 for a top expert. ....... I am saving my money for .........

Could you elaborate on what two sessions mean?

Zvezdochet:
Can you be more specific - how do you understand two sessions ?

you start the VPS,

then exit the wrong way round (terminate)

log in a second time and you have 2 sessions. And you don't even have a clue!

Try to reboot the VPS if it is a VPS

and how to get out is not right...

Alexander Bereznyak:

I still haven't caught this external UPU behaviour.

But believe me, I have known this problem for 6 years.

wrote an article on the website about it.

And the most important thing I would like to tell you about:
There is one very big problem in any UPU package- the problem with sessions.
Imagine: you work for the UPU, you do your work, after - you close your terminals, go out and go to bed. In the morning, you log in to the UPU hosting and "GOD DAMN it", but the terminals were working all night.
So: the problem is that when you mistakenly log out of the WPS desktop, your session is not closed, but the second login - a new session is created. It turns out that you have the same terminal loaded twice!!!!
Writing this article was the reason for such an incident:
The Expert worked on VPS hosting, worked in profit, and then the man suddenly writes that the Expert mysteriously turns into a worm. I.e. it is no longer on terminals, but mysteriously opens orders.
Hearing these words - I was horrified. Has the Expert Advisor gone against the rules and became a virus? But I am not a fool to do such things, even though I have been with you for more than 5 years.
An urgent letter to the server tech support:
From: BB - 2012-09-11 21:06:18
Hello, can you please tell me the problem: I logged into my server, turned off the programs there, then after some time logged back into the server and the terminals are on again? Could multiple sessions have been created? and how do i reboot this vpc?
From: Admin - 2012-09-11 21:10:31
Hello.
Your server has been rebooted.
You can restart the server yourself (Start - Shutdown - Reboot)
Yes, you may have had multiple sessions (this can happen if your previous session ended with an error)
Result of the problem: Two sessions were started in which: terminal "1" with EA "1" with settings "1" was started in "1" session and in "2" session the same terminal "1" with the same EA "1" with settings "2" was started,
The user believes that the Expert Advisor "1" with the "2" settings should work, because he downloaded them to the server last and has no idea that there are two sessions loaded! But no, there are two identical EAs on 1 account with different settings. And most importantly, the log contains all their actions at the same time. I.e. it seems that the same Expert Advisor is working, but making two concurrent actions on an account.
To prove my point:
14:04:52 EA EURUSD,H1: open #600742359 sell 0.10 EURUSD at 1.26868 ok
14:04:52Expert Advisor EURUSD,H1: open #600742360 sell 0.05 EURUSD at 1.26868 ok
Any sensible trader would say: "THIS IS IMPOSSIBLE" You can't open 2 positions at the same time in the same second.
By the way, it's worth thinking about, how to open multiple positions at once :-) !!!

The solution to the VPS problem:

If YOU notice that the Expert Advisor opens not what you need, or something happens that YOU did not plan on the VPS, you close the terminal, and then enter and it is open again -RESET THE SERVER

500? 250?

Where do you find such people?

I'll go to the director and have him review my salary.

What a battle this is going to be...

I don't get it... If it was a bug, the developer had to fix it, and if the To R didn't take something into account, then additional features would be at extra cost.

About "cool specialists starting at $500" - you can't say anything without estimating the ToR. It may be outrageously expensive, but it's also possible that for a beginner, it's "affordable".

I wonder if the "service record" of this "expert" was good.

You're telling the truth, my friend.
