One of the reasons why brokers don't like MT5 - page 7

Gennadiy Stanilevych:

Guys. Developers. Please listen to me! Write as a specialist in a brokerage house to order the history of quotes for an instrument! Look at my first post in the thread. Renat, please.

A broker pays a lot of money for technical support, can't a specialist address the technical support directly to the metaquotes?

The question is legitimate and correct. But not just any broker has this problem. Almost everyone has it. So there is something in the way of getting it right. "Non-Forex" quotes are everywhere with a short history. And forex quotes are fine. Maybe different liquidity providers do not allow to glue them together correctly. Maybe something else. Renat gave an abstract answer. I did not understand anything. It turns out that the MT5 program is good, but it's not used to its full capacity and therefore not widely implemented.

What are the liquidity providers for CFDs? Quotes?

As far as I'm concerned no one is stopping the broker from doing the gluing themselves. And the problem is more on the broker side than on the MT5 side

If it were that simple, there would have been a story for all instruments a long time ago.
