Why does Metaquotes push MT5 instead of MT4? - page 8

Waiting for the QB...

In my opinion, there is already no point in doing anything and developing for the foursome in this regard.

Vitaly Muzichenko:

Closing slipped +5pp, sometimes up to +20pp or higher, but sometimes the opposite.

Be glad that you know how to program, and that you have not received this crap from me. You have something constructive to offer?

You are building resentment for nothing. No one is happy. On the contrary -- even regret that the "masses" use such a workout and sincerely think (or listen to your explanations) that the reason is in the terminal. Actually, this dialog was initiated with such your message as "MT4 has a big defect".

If you want to be constructive, start thinking for yourselves. Maybe we will come to the right conclusion. We have not got it from you yet.

p.s. By the way, I showed you from the beginning - that the closing in MT4 at one price is not a problem at all and the task can be solved. That is, your example has no right to live, because it is buggy from the very beginning.

Andrey, the code is simple and it closes in a loop until it closes everything. There are no pauses, nothing at all, so we shouldn't blame the code. It prints to the log when there is a closing error, but the prints are extremely rare.

Well, we have already discussed this code (or approach) is not good to use. It doesn't work. You've given a bunch of examples yourself. When your workflow closes 10 orders in a range of a whole figure. That is, you use a closing method that is absolutely unacceptable. And you yourself give us the proof.

So, there is only one way out - to organise multi-threading?

How do you organise the closing cycle
1 from the first order in the list to the last
2 from the last order in the list to the first order
?

Regards.

WHERE to download MT 4 ?

MT4 without linking to a broker nowhere to download?

prom18:
MT4 is nowhere to be downloaded without linking to a broker?

only if you download the old version via archive.org and let it upgrade to the latest version

https://web.archive.org/web/20140723173332/https://www.metatrader4.com/

theoretically it should work

And binding to a broker does not prevent you from managing accounts at other brokers

you can easily connect everything you want to the broker under the letter A (or Mr. Rannev)
