It turned out that I forgot to specify one variable in the function at the very last - Number of elements to copy. By default, the whole array is copied (count=WHOLE_ARRAY).

I don't know, I don't know which variant will work faster. After all, you will be copying an array one to another the more often you have zero values in the array.
Only one last value is copied there. About speed - I don't know, I haven't checked - for now I just want the code not to be too big - just to be aware....
