What has the debate been about for 6 pages now...? As long as Microsoft and others are fighting among themselves for markets, we will see chaos among programming languages and start-up educational platforms. And our "programming school" will be dancin' meekly to the tune of the monsters, swaying along with the surges of market conditions and trends, shoving the language you know where. And all languages will invariably gravitate towards serving Windows. It's not about common sense, it's about money. Don't sweat it, it's all idle talk... The issue can only be solved by some wunderkind (self-taught star) who will write a new language and put it on the internet. And if this language will make everyone cringe and unconditionally accept "to work", and if some Microsoft does not have time to buy the idea, then we can shyly hope for something...
