As a rule, indicators are calculated based on the 'Close' price. If you ask a question, please always attach your MQL5 code using the button and paste the code using the button .

Chart prices are bid prices and therefore any indicator calculations are normally based upon the bid price.

no idea what you mean by "official indicator"
