Which mash-ups are the best to cross? - page 7

sergeyas:

The proverbial "rattle"? I've already said it's not insurmountable, but it comes with a cost.

Apply the channel - Envelopes.

FION:
... the direction and angle of the flails is much more informative and gives more accurate signals.
but less clear and there are more signals, i.e. more spread.

FION:
Apply the channel - Envelopes.

this often increases losses on every negative trade, have you managed to find the optimum channel size?

I don't use crossovers. Or rather crossovers as signals to enter the market. I have already described my approach.

FION:
In my opinion, the waveform crossing is too vague a signal, the direction and angle of the waveforms is much more informative and gives more accurate signals. In addition, the optimal period of waveforms generating signals, as well as the optimal goals and stops strongly depend on the trend-flat condition. Thus, the system must be adaptive to market conditions.

There! Exactly what adaptability to market conditions is needed.

Tilt + "angle of inclination" is much more informative!

I agree.

I won't give you the link. Yet. These are my observations and experiences.

Try studying hysteresis and using the first and second derivatives.

Eh... I'm not the only one who's been down that road! :)

Eh... I'm not the only one who's been on that rake! :)

What, you don't want to step on that rake?
