Now we're almost cooking! almost! only some signals are still missing. euro yen, 5 Aug, 1700 Alpari time, 30m - no obvious signal
Check :)
Thanks, it VERY much works everywhere! Wouldn't want to be a drag.... :) But your indicator and nikost's one complement each other perfectly. Yellow marked places where there are no signals, even though they should be.
what is the pair and tf?
EURJPY, 30 minutes, August 2-3
Try this one.
Use your fingers to mark the fractals you've found
Try this one.
Fingers mark the found fractals
The same as with the previous variant. Some signals are missed. I think the point is that as soon as an indicator finds a new fractal, it forgets about the previous one. Which is true, but only if the low of the new fractal is lower than the low of the previous one (or respectively the high of the new fractal is higher than the high of the previous one). In the case of the figure, fractal 2 cannot cancel the level set by fractal 1 because it does not have lower low, the lower bottom, so to speak. The signal should therefore be set on the 6th (sixth) candle of fractal 1.
In short: a fractal defined by an upper price high is only cancelled if there is no signal yet, and a new fractal appears HIGHER than it. Otherwise, the level set by the first fractal remains in force.
the fractal, defined by lower low, is canceled only if there was no signal yet, and a new fractal appears BETTER than it. Otherwise, the level defined by the first fractal remains in force.
Another option
This one doesn't make any sense at all
