Not at all!

The balance cannot be negative.

We should therefore all agree with the idea that in case of a negative balance the Equity formula changes ! Equity = negative balance + funds - this is the available funds from which the 20% will be counted.

Поэтому всем следует согласиться с мыслью о том, что в случае отрицательного баланса формула Эквити меняется ! Эквити = отрицательный баланс + средства это и есть доступние средства от которых будет отсчитываться 20%

No, it's just a mistake in the program. Instead of reducing the balance, you should have decreased Equity, otherwise there's a way to fuck up the BC

I am speaking from my experience. On Monday morning the balance was negative, there were no open positions, the BC zeroed out the balance.

There is no error in the program... When the MC comes, the BC will forcibly start closing open positions. starting with the highest minus... When the position is closed, the collateral will be released and credited to the balance... So when all positions are closed the balance will be positive...

Collateral is not deducted from or credited to the balance. The collateral does not change the balance. The balance will change by the amount of profit/loss of the transaction being closed. In the above example there is a profit, so the balance will tend from minus to zero and then may be in plus.
