Two traders come out of the exchange, one in their pants and the other completely naked. The naked one says to the one in pants:
-What I respect about you, Vasya, is that you can stop in time.

If the "button" does become a reality, a staggered scheme for "deleting" a branch could be proposed... the first one marks it, the second one confirms it, the third one sends it... "Neither "time of registration", nor "number of posts", nor "merits in codebase" can be objective indicators. And maybe, such a scheme won't need a "degree of reliability" either ...

At first, people lived happily ever after,

and what problems they had, they put the cattle out to pasture and that was it.

Then came computers and people had problems.

Moderators were hired to solve the problems,

and at first they were happy,

and what a problem - sit in front of the monitor all day drinking beer and banning whoever you want.

But then came the advisers...

You could do that. But (sorry for nerdiness) simulate situation to confirm the thesis that merit in codebase can't be an object index for giving right to push the button.

And the idea about spam rating (if post has x points - to moderator) - credit!

You may do it that way. But (sorry for boring) simulate the situation to confirm the thesis that the merit in the codebase is not m.b. the object. an indicator for the right to press the button.

And idea about spam rating (if a post has x points - to moderator) - credit!

What's the problem with getting more moderator staff to monitor who can push buttons and who can't.

And they will ban those who are not allowed to click but do click. :о)

Interesting. But x should not be a constant. It's better to take a poll! If those who voted against the spam post more let's say by 20% than those who doesn't think it's spam, when the total number of those who voted more than let's say "x", then the comment will automatically be hidden. Can be applied to the topic! Thus getting rid of the ill-fated button!

We get a new gameBan, even wilder and noisier than the postal one. Where it'll be all grown-up!

Well that's what to do with such 'people explain....'? On any adequately moderated forum, it's a ban forever for this kind of flooder rudeness.
