Tovaroved, it is not serious to describe everything by hyperbola, as in the article. Who says that transformation that leaves area and parallelism as invariants works in the market? Fibo harmony may be found in nature, it is known, but it is only some particular cases. I've read all these dithyrambs by Prechter and Balan myself. Confirmations of Fibo on the market are plentiful, more occasional hits, but it is obvious that the Golden Ratio is not described by all and sundry on Foreh.

P.S. Checked out the links pointed out by Roshy at the beginning of this thread. Here is a link to an awesome article: http://risk.keldysh.ru/risk/gl10.htm. It is not necessary to go into all calculations for the first acquaintance, but, I think, it is extremely interesting to read - just to reconsider some trivial and incorrect ideas about the nature of systems in which there are disasters.
