Metatrader 6: New features - page 6

Konstantin Nikitin:

Utopia... Then a certain amount of money to each resident of the earth at once in an account for a certain period and that's it. If all trading switches to one algorithm, which is basically what it says. Then the stock/currency market makes no sense.

In our world, all things are beginning to end. The stock and currency market is no exception to the rule. A thing exists as long as its raison d'être lives. The market is under constant technological attack and therefore the semantic component of the market will probably become more and more dependent on the introduction of technology, and gradually, these very technologies will destroy the semantic component - that is, they will make the trade meaningless.

So I would stick to the conservative market model and not go for the new technologies.

As if everything depended on the commodity exchange process, money has always been in the background.

And if money came to the fore, what lies ahead?

Uladzimir Izerski:

As if everything depended on the commodity exchange process, money has always been in the background.

And if money is in the foreground, what lies ahead?

Ok, I don't want to claim the ultimate truth and predict the apocalypse based only on the philosophical thesis of the nal-end of all things.))

Yes, the commodity-exchange process is key.

Right now, it is technology that is the commodity and source of goods - the driver of the global economy. Technology has been developing very rapidly since the beginning of the 20th century and the development has not yet exhausted the scientific potential accumulated in the history of mankind, which will probably end with the invention of artificial intelligence and the consistent transfer of control over all processes of human activity to it. Next, there will probably be stages of stagnation, survival and death of the capitalist world. In essence, business is on its way to becoming a victim of its own development and expansion, and will surely become one, as it cannot undo this. Environmental disasters, unemployment, overpopulation, resource scarcity, riots, coups d'état, natural disasters are the reverse side of bloated technomania. Every invention not only gives people something, but also takes something away. A pre-crisis point of social and financial equilibrium. Every gadget brings income to some and takes it away from others. People rock the boat in which they sit in the cosmic ocean and "eat" each other. The trouble is, they don't steer the boat and don't know where it's going. Their only concern is personal comfort and occupying as much space as possible. The ego rules the world and while it does, the world is in danger.

Undoubtedly the stock market and the currency market will not collapse overnight. Above all, misfortune will befall the kitchens. But, with the arrival of AI, too many will find themselves buried in the past and this is almost inevitable.

Thanks for an interesting philosophical post. It's not often that people reason like this.

I'd like to add an exception handler like in C# try{}catch(...) and multiple inheritance, as well as the possibility to write any object to the file using the standard MQL function, if it's at all possible. The most important thing is the compatibility of MQL5 code with the code in MQL6!

What if the object contains a pointer? How do you write it down?

No problem. Just write it that way - "u-k-a-z-a-t-e-l-y". )

Will MT6 support Cent trading accounts?

No I guess not. They're boring in MT4.)
