Open manually. If it works manually it means:

  • or robot trading is prohibited (blocked at the trading institution)
  • trading is banned in the terminal (Auto-trade button)
  • crooked Expert Advisors

Should a broker have stoplots and takeprofits set after positions are opened?

Can an EA first place stop-losses and take-profits without opening a position...........

When running exp-the-x-wpr-full.ex5, there is an error:

TRADE_RETCODE_INVALID_FILL An unsupported order execution type by balance is indicated

An EA may try to open a position but some brokerage companies do not allow this, so it is either a virtual hold or a SL TP after the position has been opened.
