Your broker is slowing down (or rather, the dealing centre, am I right in assuming that you rely on a fixed spread?), because he has nothing to cover your deal at his broker - there are no counter bids. And he does not want to take risks because you probably want to enter at such moments with the whole deposit and a leverage of 500 ........... :)))

The price is the result of the last trade equal to the last tick. ..................
Where did you get this information?
In forex, the price of the "flipper" (the price of the last trade) is not broadcast.
Only BID and ASK prices are translated, i.e. prices at which the broker offers to buy/sell at the current moment (and providing history of ASK prices in MT(3,4,5) is not provided by the standard). He started out with two former stock traders who were interested in electronic trading. He put their trading concepts into algorithms, which were then coded by his business partner, after which they all opened a small trading "boutique" called Rooftop Trading. Joseph's new algorithm traded 2,000 times faster than all his previous creations. He refuses to reveal the exact amount of all the funds in their high-frequency turnover.
With billions of dollars at stake, high-frequency traders today are engaged in a super-technical race in the hope of outbidding each other and other investors in the battle for the most profitable trade. This rivalry involves "collocating", namely placing one's server in close proximity to the exchange's servers. Large companies are willing to pay up to $200,000 a month for such a location for their computers. Through his broker, Joseph uses Zen-Fire, a service which allows him to rent a server in one of these data centres. The price of such quotes is included in his brokerage commission, which depends on the volume of his trading.
