Hedging system
This accounting system allows you to have a large number of trading positions in the account for one and the same instrument, including multidirectional positions.
If there is an open position on a trade instrument and a trader makes a new deal (or a pending order triggers), a new position is opened. The existing position is not changed.
Below is an example of execution of two transactions to buy EURUSD with the volume of 0.5 lots each:

On the stock exchange (stock symbols), hedging is in principle forbidden. It does not depend on the terminal. On an Exchange, only netting is allowed.

on Forts. On Forts in other terminals you can open trades in the same direction and they do not add up.

No, in MT5 only for forex hedge accounts.
For Forts in Quick, you can open opposite positions during the trading day.
If I'm not mistaken counter positions live until the main clearing.
