I wanted to buy this card first:
3.0 x16
But, it's a bit pricey, the manager assured me I could upgrade to it in a year for a surcharge. For now I'll have this one:
2.1 x16
From the looks of it, not a bad piece of hardware either.
Double precision calculation speed is 1.5 times less and costs half as much. The same goes for the number of "bees". Plus it should be cheaper in a year's time.
2.1 x16
Sounds like a pretty big piece of hardware, too.
Well, you're gonna tear the local testers to shreds with that hardware.
Are you gonna upgrade or are you gonna leave the old one? Not everything depends on the graphics card, the stone will have to do some things too. And your rock is really old...
AMD Phenom || X6 1090T
8GB RAM 7-7-7-15 (something like that)
Well, you'll tear all the local testers to shreds with a piece of metal like that.
Shit. Already scared. ;(
Don't worry. Your iron's not much weaker than mine. :)
When will Open-cl cloud appear??? Question for the developers. How to feel it??? exactly in the "cloud"
Renat posted a couple of pages ago that it will happen in the next build 584, now it is 597 and in the forum thread on the update of the tester there is a description of 602-build and unfortunately I have not heard a peep about it there

Seriously, it's awfully interesting what kind of juice you'll be able to get out of it. Especially good that you have 2GB of DDR5. As it turns out on-board GPU memory can be a VERY serious resource for OpenCL calculations.

It is too early for that - we need to make sure that OpenCL programs do not hang the entire network due to the glitches of the GPU and OpenCL programs themselves.
In fact, OpenCL programs can only be released on the network after test runs on local agents to make sure that the program works and does not kill the computer.
