Whether it rises or falls will depend on the Fed rate (now 2%).

We need to watch the USD_INDEX three weeks before the Fed meeting (expectedon December 11).

If they lower the rate, we should see 1570 - 1580 per troy ounce.

The Fed cut the rate to 1.75% on 30.10.2019, doubtful they will cut it again on 11 Dec.

I.e. likely to be 1525 - 1530 soon.

On the other hand, Trump needs a cheap dollar, so the USD index needs to be watched closely
