1. “It's profitable” what is “it”?
2. Anything you see can be faked.
   
3. In MT4, it is possible to read the history files in the tester, thus EA can know the outcome before making a trade. A simple forward test on demo shows the real EA.

if you have access to the server you can do anything you like inside the trades, however double checking the history can reveals a lot.

the easiest thing is not to trust unregulated brokers history and trade history, only focus on the regulated ones where its very difficult to play with the server or the trading history.
