MT5 crashes when creating any object or editing any existing object!

Since last update I cannot edit or create any object

MT5 simply crashes and closes down.

I've installed it again (over previous installation) but still the problem persists.

Any thoughts? 

 

I saw that a totally clean installation has no issue like this. 

After some experiments,

I identified Config folder being the root of the problem.

When my old Config folder is present, I cannot edit or create new objects.

So replacing the Config folder is a possible solution for this. 

 

After some more experiments,

I saw the file Config\common.ini  is the source of the problem.

So, replacing only this file would be a solution I guess (for anyone who has the same problem as I did) 

 

BUT...

now MT5 crashes the same when I try to load my indicator which uses a dll.

Same pattern: crash and exit.

It happens even with a fresh installation.

I tried to compile it again with the new version of metaeditor, but it doesn't matter

What's happening? Anyone?

Same problem here, must be an issue with the latest build
 
I have the same problem, complete reinstall did not help.

MT5 build 448 seems totally failure,,,,,I can't even click Horizontal Line Properties,,,it's crash.....and the trouble is inside the program, can't work with Windows XP...

Now It Solved in MT5 Build 450
 

Just a suggestion for MetaTrader 4 and MetaTrader 5 Developer.....

This MT5 build 450,,,,seems works fine.


In next release...

Dont put all new feature inside MetaTrader itself, better make somekind Plug-in to activate feature, so if some bug happen in new release, it won't crash-ing current MT5 itself...


Beside I just need to trade with simple platform and get profit,,,,,,, no need new feature such as "Exposure, Market, CodeBase, etc..."

It only consume RAM with useless feature. My MT5 now eats 1GB ram, with built-in Indicator only (Stochastic & BollingerBand).
