Hi everyone,
My problem is that for some reason, back testing will stop working after I do it several hundred times with an EA in MT4. The only solution I know currently is to reinstall it, and then it works fine for a while, and then stops after a ton of testing (I click the start button and it makes the dog toy noise instantly). It's as if there is a data cache that needs to be emptied or something. I tried playing around with settings and looking at the file location/history to no avail.
It doesn't happen all at once, because it starts by me having to click start button several times to work, progressing into me clicking it as much as I want and nothing happens. There has to be some cache that gets full.
I'm wondering if anyone has the same experience here, and if there is a known fix. I wouldn't want this to somehow translate into a problem with live trading.
Any help would be MUCH appreciated.
