Well, to update this post for anyone that might be interested on deleting PM's it can be done from the MT5 mobile platform on iOS, not sure about Android(I presume it is also possible).
On the iOS MT5 app go to Settings-Chat and Messages and slide left on the conversation to delete it completely, or alternatively open the conversation and tap-hold on the message you want to delete and select delete.
