What difference between close[] of OnCalculate and the Close[] of Predefined Variables?

Both do same action or any of them have a special thing like more performance?
 

  1. Why did you post your MT4 question in the MT5 Indicators section instead of the MQL4 section, (bottom of the Root page?)

  2. The MT4, predefined variable Close[] is set as-series. The other has no default, you must set it.
