I installed it on VPS now (It was VPS with Windows Server 2008) -
No problem with VPS.
And not a problem with my home PC on Windows 10.
I did not try the other my home PC with Windows 8.1 (because I am mostly using MT5 and I do not need a lot of MT4 instances installed), but I think that there is not a problem with Windows 8.1 as well.
Besides, MT4 is always on 32 bit (MT4 64 bit does not exist) so it does not matter about the following: your computer is on 32 bit or 64 bit.
I believe your server is old enough and not the fresh one. Is it true?

fresh one (from the about one and half months ago).
I am not VPS specialists, but I confirmed that MT4 can be installed with not a problem at all.
Any other particularities are related to VPS specialists.
But ... if it is important to know - this VPS is 64 bit system.
You can try with 64 bit for example ..

I see thank you. At the moment I have succeed to install the terminal too. The issue resolved by itself. Nothing was done.
Hello,
suddenly, I cannot install MT4 on my PC anymore. I am using Windows Server 2012. When I try to install I get the message "Sorry, something went wrong: Please try again later". I tried he setup.exe from 3 different brokers. All the same error. MT5 terminal installs without any problems. Does anybody have an idea how to solve that?
Chris
Chris could you confirm if the issue has gone by itself?
