MT4 Templates Have Turned Into PDFs and HTML Docs and Wont Open

I dont know how this happened but I uninstalled MT4 and then shutdown, then reinstalled and the files have stayed as PDFs and HTML Docs.  Is there a way to fix this?  Thank you. 
 
You have told windows to open tpl files with acrobat. Right click on a tpl and set it to open via notepad.
 
William, Thank you.  I was able to get them back to TPL files but they still wont open.  When I click on them I get the attached images, It just opens a note document in MetaEditor

Exactly what you should expect. A template is just a text file. You apply them to a chart to change the chart: Chart → Right Click → Template → click on one.

Perhaps you should read the manual.
