I'm using a proxy server in MT4. However the same setting does not work in MT5. Why?
The proxy server is a SOCKS5 connection on an SSH client. So, in Option --> Server --> Proxy, my proxy server address is like "localhost:xxxxx", here xxxxx is the socks port I have opened. This works in MT4.
However, in MT5 (build 1980), pressing "Test" button of proxy server does not provide any response and the server address above cannot be saved. The result is no connection.
In MT4, the "Test" button shows "localhost:xxxxx, Test passed ok". Why the button in Mt5 does not show any information?
Is there any hint to solve this problem?
