Backtesting with 64 threads CPU in MT5

Hello,

does anybody have experience by using a highly multithreaded cpu for back testing?
For example the AMD Ryzen™ Threadripper™ 2990W with 64 threads?

Can MT5 handle 64 threads in strategy tester?

I've tested up to 32 threads using the AWS EC2, it was fast and absolutely fine.

Was it cheaper than doing the same backtest with MQL5 cloud agents?
 

my experience

MQL5 cloud agents not cheap,  MQL5 cloud agents good for one time use, but if use often 

MQL5 cloud agents will charge over if you EA run backtesting a long time , like backtest many year expensive more that backtest one month


32 thereads AWS EC2 is good option

AMD Ryzon good for long term use and good for you allway backtesting every days


all is up to you EA backtesing calculate and how long period bactest

backtesting I mean optimization.
