Rafael Caetano Pinto:
I have a problem that only occurs in the real account:
On WIN$D, I operate with ORDER_FILLING_IOC and deviation points = 15.
The EA sent a buy order at 74,000, the order ended up buying at 74100. I imagined that point deviation was a parameter that allows MT5 to buy into the market at until 74015, but that is not what is happening.
Can you explain to me how the deviation points works and how do I set up a threshold over de price of a order?
Deviation parameter is not use while trading Futures.
In general symbol with market execution or exchange execution doesn't take into account any "deviation", you get the price from the market.
