hello i am new to trading and this forum so if there is already a topic about this i apologize for spamming but i have notice something rather interesting.
i have been using a EA on both a live account and on demo account at the same time to forward test it and check the results on both of them, the thing is i notice when i put both accounts side by side there is a considerable lag on the live account, while in the demo account the market moves 2 ticks down and 4 ticks up in 1 second for example, on the live account it only moves the 2 ticks up and has like almost 0.5 second delay... how is this possible can someone explain to me? i think my slippage is due to this time lag because in my opinion 10 ticks slippage on 0.01 lots is way too much.
