Rookie personal recomendation (a good starting point)

Hi all,

My name is Raul, I am 27 and I live in Spain.

I have been little time in the Forex world, although I must say that so far, and despite the fact I am still a little bit lost, I am beginning to focus a little bit.

I wanted to tell you about a Forex course I am following right now, with live trading sessions.

The person who teaches it is called James de Wet, a south-african who is been around in the world of trading for quite a long time. He says he went broke once, so now his saying is: better let a trade go than risking too much.

The course is composed of 31 videos, in which he talks, among other things about how to open a broker account, his money management method, best times for trading, candle patterns, etc.

He has also some videos dedicated to the three methods he uses (and teaches): one is trend-following (with 1 hour candles), another one about trend breaking (5 min candles) and another one related to average crossings (although we don’t follow this last one too much)

The course complements with two live trading sessions a week (Tuesdays and Thursdays), in which we all can see his graphs and broker (his entrances and exits, which he announces and we all can see on the screen). Also, we can ask any questions we have, and he answers them live. So far I have been following his indications, and truth be told, it’s working well so far

His target is to begin with 2000$ and take it to 50000 in 18 months, with a 20% monthly return (according to his money management method, that’s 200 pips/month, 50 pips/week), and so far (he started in May, so it’s only been 3 months) he has achieved it. He only takes trades Tuesdays and Thursdays, when we all can see. Also, some other days, he warns us by e-mail of certain entrance alerts (although he makes it very clear it is not an alert service

He speaks quite clear, so even if English is not your mother tongue (like in my case), it is quite easy to follow him.

You can find more details about the course here: E75+ Course

Best regards and good trading to all!

Raul

Federal Court Orders James de Wet, a South African Resident, to Pay Over $1 Million for Violating the Commodity Exchange Act

People should also be aware that the Federal Court ordered James de Wet, to Pay Over $1 Million for violating the Commodity Exchange Act

Its worth pointing out that James has a very long history of misrepresentation, the forums are littered with people who suffered financial losses as a result of following his calls, and this court case quite clearly shows, his actual trading results where completely appalling.

Hello,

I am fairly new to the forex world and pretty much know all the basics. Anyone know any company or person that offers more hands on training/courses in Florida(miami) on technical analysis like chart readings, indicators, and drawing trend lines(correctly). I could only find one but they use FX Money Map and emphasize on using their platform...

Thank you
