Not less than zero, the rest can be tweaked.
 
at least 15%, with a low drawdown.
 
at least 10%/month is enough..at least consistent 
 

reward need to correlate to risk

10% reward but high risk is nothing but trouble

Most traders always aimed for bigger profits, but trading is all about probabilities, that if you aimed for bigger profits it is also possible that you will suffer huge loses, that is why I would love to see a strategy to perform below the 30% level in a monthly basis, this will keep your account safer.

I have more than one answer ;-) and it depends on account size.

wish: account size/ profit per month / drawdown

   1.000 - 30% / 40%

   5.000 - 20% / 30%

 20.000 - 10% / 20%

 50.000 -   6% / 15%

100.000 -  4% / 12%

200.000 -  3% /  8%

500.000 -  2% /  6%


more real: account size/ profit per month / drawdown

   1.000 - 10% / 60%

   5.000 -  6% / 50%

 20.000 -  5% / 40%

 50.000 -  4% /30%

100.000 -  3% /20%

200.000 -  2% /15%

500.000 -  1% / 10%

Nice analysis , it goes in line with the fact that leverage drops as your account grows.

So ... you confirm that there is no huge, dreamy profits in FX in the long run.

Could other experienced traders/coders here please share their experiences about the realistic returns in FX market?
