all i want to say is that there are strategies that do not use any indicators or signals, etc., but have quite complicated trade size and/or hedging management. some examples are so called "grid" strategies.
and it is nonsense to count pips per lot for them as they may have thousands orders of different sizes in one day. what matters is risk and profit in money.
i agree that majority of the systems are developed to trade only one lot, but nevertheless the rule to count only pips is the limitation indeed, while counting equity growth in percents is the universal method applied all over the world.If you meant the grid.Iagree with you. The EA can open as many positions as it want because every position means win or loss risk.
