The implementation of the Hybrid Renko is complete. I am not a miser to keep everything I ever did, but I cannot leave this particular code (actually it has hundreds of kilobytes) as it contains most of the stuff which makes my humble income. The formula is revealed, so there is no secret behind.
Regarding modified Range bars - my opinion is that the range bars are far too good to be modified in any way, unless I get a sign of sense.

so uh...whats the strategy for trading this?
If the reversal candle open is the only difference, then I am satisfied. Actually, the open price is just matter of convention, rather than part of the formula.
has anyone run any actual tests with just using the color change as entries and exits.... or else just using getting in after smaller retracements after the spike candles... perhaps trading every single candle or as you see fit however...in the direction of the step ma since it will be much more smooth and reliable running with the time based hybrid imo ....something to look into as was shown in the pics of this thread.....just some ideas of what may be of some use. Other traders may have better ideas. Just trying to be helpful

You might be quite right, but as there is no additional information about the possible advantage either from you or from the internet, it is hard to believe it would attract retail traders.
