im not sure how it works, but you can go ahaead and try asking the live chat of a broker, a good broker like hotforex might do. it might differ from one broker to another.

of course a non Muslim can get a swap free account, there are no restrictions at all.

The Broker I use is:

AmariFX | Forex Brokers , Online Forex Trading Company

no swap account and I just pay little extra each time I trade.

I thinkfree swap account is only for traders who are Muslim. I also use it when trading cause my broker offer it. But there is some broker who don't provide free swap account. For Muslim, we should choose broker which provide free swap account if we usually trader long term

Virtually, it is very much difficult to kick off a swap free account in a regulated trading platform due to having many kinds of restrictions. In my trading career, I have tried a lot of time to open a Islamic account in a trading broker.
