Only if used exclusively as a system in its own. Hedge has a good property of recovering losses. A good system should have a different strategy that can utilize hedge once in a while, when chances of win are high, and a quick recovery is necessary.

I think it will be very profitable stratagy. If hedge is prohibited, you must have a trend follower like moving avarage.
For example; If trend seems to upper direction, the ea must open a buy position. If price go down, open one more buy position and take profit level must go down at the same time.
