Good afternoon on my own:
I'll explain more calmly in a summing up of all the achievements.
Adelanto when you make a backtest using the Birt's script, these data, I mean the bid volume and ask volume influence the spread.
Taking into account these data, the backtest takes into account the variable spread, if not have these data and only have the Timestamp, bid price and ask price, does not work with variable spread, which makes fixed form.
This is a brief summary, will try to expose correctly for everyone understands and can put it into practice.
Best regards.
Hermo.I see
Then it makes sense. Thanks for the answer
Is DOM data available using metatrader 4?
Is DOM data available using metatrader 4?
Good morning sebastianK:
I am not a programmer, the only thing I can say is if your metatrader 4 has DOM and receives data, I think if it could be done.
But I think I have Metatrader 4 does DOM.
Correct me if I'm wrong please.
Best regards.
Hermo
If we could get that data iin metatrader 4 then that would be very good

HermoFrom what I see, mql4 (the coding language of metatrader 4) does not have the functions necessary to handle DOM data (though it recognizes the MqlBookInfo structure). Until they enable DOM functions (if ever) in metatrader 4 too, I am afraid that we are not going to be able to have those data in metatrader 4
Pity for DOM and metatrader 4
I do not want to use metatrader 5
Tool to save data tick tick

I think you could try Pepperstone
I think Pepperstone has enabled DOM Metatrader 4
But I have to try it.
When you know something I will comment.
It is the only broker of which I have heard has enabled DOM.
But I have not checked.
Next week you can say more.
Best regards.

Hermo.Hermo
It is not the problem of a broker
But a problem of metatrader. See what do I get when I try to compile metatrader 4 source with DOM functions included - it simply does not know what those functions are in metatrader 4 build 646. If Pepperstone can compile that, that would be very good, but lets wait and see if it is so
