Cant delete indicator

I can not get rid of indicators Though I deleted them from the indicators folder

. They continue to appear and fill up all the space

i used to delete from the indicator folder of the mt4 build 509

When metatrader runs on windows 7 it is almost sure (unless you have specified the /portable switch) that your indicators are not stored in the metatrader\experts\indicators folder but somewhere in the Documents and Setting\User name\Application data\...

So, either you have to delete indicators from the indicators list (in the terminal) with the right click->delete, or you have to find the exact folder where the indicators are saved and delete them from there

 

I spent all day yesterday on experience in identifying the location of the files that filled all the HD

I have no idea why they did not leave the situation like in XP...

how can i delete the logs files before they filled the HD"?

I don't know. I am still using XP

stay with XP i think for using mt4 it's definitely better

I'll keep looking and try the file.

I will report when I find a solution

 

I am using XP too for a PC that I use for trading

Much more reliable than windows 7 or windows 8
